What are dentures?

Dentures are used to replace multiple missing teeth. A removable oral appliance, a denture can be used to effectively restore the appearance, function, and health of your smile. Whether you are missing just a few teeth or all of your teeth, our dentists are dedicated to finding the tooth replacement solution that works for your smile. To accommodate your personal needs and desires, we offer both complete and partial dentures in Dearborn, Michigan.

What are complete dentures?

A complete denture, or full denture, is used when all of the teeth are missing. Depending on which teeth are missing, complete dentures can be used for just one arch (the upper or lower) or both arches. A complete denture is made up of prosthetic teeth set into a gum-colored base.

What is a partial denture?

A partial denture is used when multiple teeth are missing but some natural teeth still remain. The partial denture fills in the gap left by the missing teeth. In many cases, the partial denture is held in place by a thin framework or clasps.

If you are missing one or more teeth, we encourage you to contact us today at Dearborn West Dental. Drs. Farber and Farber will be happy to meet with you to discuss how we can restore your smile.
